Set Up & Operation

THE TURKEY CADDY WAY!
  1. Center the Turkey Caddy on the cooking pot, fill with peanut oil, bring to temperature and shut off burner.
  2. With bird mounted on poultry rack resting on a cookie sheet, place the cookie sheet on the pot.
  3. Attach the safety snap hook to the poultry rack stem, raise the bird up, set the brake and remove the cookie sheet. Relight the burner.
  4. Release the brake and slowly lower the into the oil allowing the residual moisture to flash off.
  5. When the cooking is done raise the bird up to clear the pot and set the brake. Allow the excess oil to drain away.
  6. Place the cookie sheet on the pot, lower the bird and release the safety snap hook. Take the bird on the cookie sheet to the food prep area.
  7. When it is time to clean up and put away, simply fold the legs of the Turkey Caddy in and hang it on the wall until next time, no clean up required.

CAUTION: Follow all appropriate safety rules when cooking and never, ever use indoors or on a deck.
